GUARDIAN PROGRAM

In an effort to grow our Doodle family without turning our home into a kennel atmosphere, ensuring all of our breeding dogs live a spoiled life in their forever home,

we have implemented a Guardian Program.

We place our Pick of the litter Females with a Guardian home.

Breeding dogs are chosen for their temperament, coat, and confirmation.

​

Guardian families allow us to be exceptional breeders by allowing us to have multiple potential breeding dogs in our program that live in a family environment.

We are thankful and appreciative for the role these families play.

 

The guardian dog is part of the guardian home's family. The dog will live with you, while breeding rights/ownership of the dog are retained by Doodles of Louisiana until the dog have met the breeding requirements. Once the guardian dog has completed his/her breeding career, he/she will be spayed/neutered at our expense and will remain a forever pet of yours.  Guardian families will be under a legal contract until the breeding career is complete.

Guardian families are responsible for high quality dog food specified by us, grooming, socialization, Vaccinations, heart worm medication, and most importantly love and attention.

Any "breeding related" medical cost are paid by DOL, such as ultrasounds to confirm pregnancies, and x-rays to count puppies before birth.

Guardian homes Must:

1. Be within 1 hour or under from Jena, LA

2. Have a fenced in Yard or be willing to Leash Walk at all times

3. Be financially prepared to raise a puppy

4. If getting a female, the Guardian cannot have an intact Male at the home.

5. If getting a Male, guardian cannot have an intact female at the home.

6. Be prepared to give a lot of love!
